Beautiful

The nature of the trails make it look really dynamic - like an explosion or something - but the assymetry makes it an interesting pic.

I can see a dragon's head in the lower left silver bit and some phoenixs on the left of the central gold.

I like some asymmetry in fractals, most of the time anyway, as you say it makes them interesting.

Lovely! I like the textures in the shading as well as on the paper.

It's quite a sweet picture - has some of the romanticism of Antoine Saint-Expury's sketches.

But if the ship's meant to be floating above the water, maybe it should have been drawn a bit higher? Or maybe lower? Maybe you could have showed some of the underside? As is, it initially 'read' as if it was on the surface of the water and even now there's something about the placement I don't like.
