High-speed action, jokes and pretty colours.
Some awesome work here. I loved some of the short jokes, such as the representation of the portal as an egg/sperm.
There's a really nice mixture of styles here, yet it does gel togethere brilliantly.
From the start: (typed quickly whilst watching a 2nd time and occasionally pausing)
I was initially disappointed to see Sqeezy churning out a dancing line but as the lyrics started, the stitched up doll-type dude was a treat for the eyes.
The perspective looks very wrong on the keyboard.
I really like the fuzzy TV effect.
Everyone's bits are really well timed. and the flashes of lightning do nicely to accentuate this.
Nanoko's thick lines really stand out and add to the piece.
Rilstix' wackiness is great, with the dancing stick-bodied dudes and such.
Sqeezy continues the wackiness. Link made me laugh, as did the random brick guy.
The chicken is horrific.
It's brilliant the way the stick-type guy sheds some stuff and then bursts out in Nanoko's part.
Girl laughing at boy on fire? Twisted.
It definitely speeds up more and more as it goes on and though the '3,2,1' bit seems a bit sparse, it's all packed with loads of action pretty colours, awesomeness and more stuff than can be taken in in one watching.
The credits seemed funny, but you should have the text actually reach the top of the screen before switching to 'The End'.
Worthy of a more thoughtful review than I gave it, but at least I tried... ;-/
Seriously, some great stuff here and an incredible collaboration.
Did you pass it around or split up the song into parts and have your bits in different scenes?
It seems everyone added to the project in different ways and the combined whole is far better for it.
Personally, I don't count stuff like the Time Trials and 'Shades of...' as 'real' collaborations. Only stuff like this, where the other members are actually NEEDED and form part of a real whole, rather than just a collection of shorter movies and stuff.
Anyway... great movie. I really, really enjoyed it.
