Awesome beginning.

As others mentioned, the fight was a bit of a disappointment after seeing you go into real detail with all the training, treating the cats as anthropomorphic entities.

Also, the end didn't make it entirely clear (to me at least) that they had stopped the fight due to the fish. I don't know if I would have been certain of that had it not been written in the comments.

Anyway, the graphics were brilliant, the motion was timed really well to the music, specially during training, and I loved the way you drew those skies.

Just that the end seemed more of a let-down rather than being amusing due to any surprise.

Nothing much beyond the basic premise.

The concept of bruised milk is an intriguing one, but beyond the basic premise, this had very little to offer.

I'd have really liked more of an exploration into the idea, maybe some more jokes packed in.

The bizarre probiscis emerging was mildly amusing and the voice-acting really was spot-on. The music too fitted the style perfectly.

The intro was well designed to give that retro feel, but maybe lasted too long considering the length of the actual movie.

Graphics were really nice but the main beef I have is that the concept could have been elaborated upon.

Maybe having milk rushing to hospital or giving it a personality...

Not those ideas but just adding to it somehow...

A bit simple and almost slow paced at the start.

The sword fight is incredible with very smooth animation and brilliant movement into the camera and some nice rotation (always hard to do, I think).

The art style itself is really nice - I would have perhaps liked a little more shading and they did look extraordinarily pale, but it seemed stylish.

The sections when fighting the monster were visually interesting, well choreographed and a joy to watch.

However, I felt that the start was a tad slow and whilst you alluded to the couple teaming up in your comments and in the photos, all we saw was one situation - it would have been nice to have been treated to more snippets from their lives.

And at the end - is she reminiscing romantically? Why did they break up as a team? Were they something more?

Well, congratulations for getting me to even ask these questions but maybe showing us a few more clues would have enriched your world a little bit more.

Horrifying.

Note - don't read further if you don't want to read spoilers.

I'm just not a fan of senseless buggery.

The music was quite fitting with cheerfulness and other-worldly creepiness embodied well.

The story wasn't something I enjoyed watching or feel better for having watched. Certainly I can't say I'm shocked to find one of your submissions is like this seeing as you seem to be fascinated with dementia and odd personalities in various forms.

Packed full of jokes.

So many jokes condensed into this piece - you've used every opportunity to throw in another pun/pop-culture reference or silly joke that may just be the one to finally make our face crack. A smile.

Seriously, in situations where others would just just progress the 'plot', you use every opportunity to throw in another joke. God forbid the pace would ever slow down.

Like the sequel, the graphics could be a lot better and whilst they don't hinder the animation, nicer graphics, maybe something more stylish even if not more complex, would be a bonus.

The voices are excellent and it truly is an excellent series here.

Strangely, this seems to have more actual jokes in it, but thanks to the ludicrous situations or number of half-jokes or whatever it may be, I laughed in #2 but not in this.

Nice and snappy.

A very nicely done comedy with the pathetic superhero a nice concept.

The voices were all good and the jokes well timed.

It was all fairly fast and snappy with nothing overstaying its welcome - a common flaw with amateur animations.

The graphics could definitely be better but they didn't get in the way of the humour and the absence of your characteristic (wibbling) gfx was a good choice, I feel.

Very nice.

An interesting concept.

I saw countless colours thanks to blurs, gradients and semi-transparencies. Also, ReNaeNae even had some purple! Anyway, the idea of using only a specific colour was a nice one I hadn't seen done before.

The plot wasn't totally clear on the first viewing - maybe switching between the eyes and a close up showing only the flying birds before the flapping wing would help illustrate the concept as some details escaped me the first time.

Greedom
Rather strange audio... with a rather strange clip to match.

To me this actually dragged on. The environment was reasonably nice, but it wasn't worth the slow uneventful tour we were treated to.

Some nice pictures, but I don't understand the message the author is trying to get across. A plane crash-lands, releasing... *oh, they were dying... so why did heaven bomb earth? And is the whole thing simply a statement on how many pointless deaths there are?

It seems a very nice movie with a nice soundtrack but it's maybe a bit impenetrable (and I'm assuming I've got the right message). I'm still not at all sure what your message was and in that sense, having made it clearer would have made it better to my mind.

I got to level 6 and I was enjoying the later levels but the frustration of having to re-play earlier levels each time and having to restart if I missed one single shot wasn't worth the fun of playing the new levels. I did really like the way the missiles were launched making the varying positions a factor in aiming.

elkrobber
Not too keen on the story. The story didn't seem that interesting and it wasn't told in a specially interesting way. Fairly decent animation though.

Omnilurk
I liked the design of the green lady thing with wings and the way the wings were used to defend. However, not too keen on the subject matter, having been bored with too many fights already.

AP1667
Mildly interesting movie with a very bizarre ending. Not sure what was happening here. Some motion seemed pretty nice, although that was maybe thanks to how small the character was.

Valtrix
Very nice music. I really liked the uplifting message as well and the animation, though simple, works well. The one complaint I have is the way the end fades out then 'pop's back in over and over and over....

ReNaeNae
I really like the drawings of the fly and frog and the animation of the tongue was pretty nice too. I also liked the movement of the reflections of the trees at the start. I did think that it might have made the story more interesting if the characters had shown more reactions. Exaggerating the fact that the frog had woken up and was annoyed with a quick close-up... I know some may call it disrespectful to the audience's intelligence, but personally, I would rather have an over-stated animation, specially when it is so short.

Skyrocket
I liked the skeleton dude who only appeared for half a second but whilst the animation was fairly competent, it was never clear what was going on, what his aim was if any, and so the story seemed to have almost never been told. Also, you seemed a bit over-reliant on b+w gradients for a 'shades of green' collab.

I presume you're a beginner at flash? Well, I suggest next time you draw a bird, don't have the tail, main body and head disconnected. Thicken up the wing a bit maybe. Also, have the arms of the walking dude swing as he walks. Nice song pick.

To everyone - I may have come across as harsh. That's the result of limited character count and me wanting to be constructive rather than nice. You all did a good job in making the animations and I wish you all the best of luck with future stuff.

Stay funky everyone,

Some really cool stuff.

The bouncing pillow was nice. You managed to bring life into a fairly simple character there. Also, the animation was really smooth.

The dude with the guns looked a bit off to me when he was jumping backwords. Also, when he bent over, he looked too much like he was a dead body or a doll the way he collapsed. That was probably the one bit I didn't like.

The splashes were incredible and I loved the effects there. Very, very nice.

The sketch of the girl had a really nice style to it.

Very impressed overall and can only suggest you maybe start working in colour.

Stay funky,
Bez

Why not sound?

I've come to realise how much sound adds to an animation - turn the sound off on even your favourite film and it won't be nearly as much fun.

In one sense, having audio allows for the opportunity to engage twice as many senses and so of course it'll be more enjoyable to watch.

But anyway, the animation was really nice. I liked the fluid splashing around and the excuse for rock-paper-scissors was amusing.

It could have been a bit shorter though, cutting some snippets here and there.

But brilliant animation. And for 2 nights - I applaud you.

Those hands really annoyed me!

Some of the 3D 'effects' were nice - I really liked the head of the space pirate right at the start for example. However, the hands looked very 2D - kinda like paper cut-outs - all the way through and that rather irritated me.

I liked the basic premise, but the whole thing seemed a bit long, with a fair amount of stuff that could have been cut/shortened.

The basic joke was mildly amusing but - in my mind - not amusing enough for a whole animation to rely on. The jokes of that alien really dragged on as well.

However, I smiled a bit at the stupid Space Pirate not knowing what 'Famicom' meant and I liked the small details - the text on the screen, Homestar Runner (specially this as it was a nice incidental detail that could be appreciated when watching normally); 50000g fat and the silly movie about turning blue.

I very much liked the dress-up game. Very silly and amusing enough to last nearly the whole duration of the download. (on cable)

I was somewhat puzzled by the big bear thing only having completed Super Metroid.

Anyway, it seemed merely Ok to me... the preloader was probably my favourite bit. The movie just seemed to drag on for the most part.
