[Action Movie: Trailer 1]

Crazy!

I'm amazed some folk say they're looking forward to the full movie or are wishing you luck with it... I suppose some don't get the joke.

It's a quality animation with really nice voices and some nice graphics and animations. Nice and clean.

However, it just didn't make me laugh or amuse me /that/ much.

Made me smile though. :-)

I think 'black guy' should have been called 'token black guy' but apart from that, I suppose maybe if it was just crazier I'd have preferred it... even more explosions, the crazy guy shouting some crazy noises, us hearing the english accent for a second...

In any case, stay funky.

[Warrior Boarder]

Hilarious!

Starting off semi-plausible and quickly taking a dive into the insane, it's a real masterpiece.

The whole thing just seems to poke fun at all the stupid super-heroes out there and the various scenes seemed nicely though out and winking knowingly at all the cliches being thrown about.

The only thing I'd say is that the art could still use some work - specially the ground with its big fat lines in a distinctly different colour.

Maybe use a more similar shade, or maybe use shading more thoughtfully.

That's my tip for your advancement, but it's great as it is.

[Plastic Hammer 4 - Melee]

a few good moments.

I really liked the first time you broke the 4th wall and the premise of table-top combat is something I've not seen explored before. (Is that what it was? Maybe have a small bit of text explaining the situation at the start?)

Graphics were pretty decent and voices were good.

However, there were a few moments that I just felt weren't that interesting and could have really been trimmed.

Still, decent watch - better than a lot of TV...

Looking forward to the next episode!

The whole thing was a bit of a 'homage' to Buffy, with the portal, the library as the setting, the whole discovering your destiny thing...

but despite some moments when I felt I knew too well what was happening, it was definitely an entertaining watch.

The art was great. Loved the style of the characters and the way you doubled up lines to simulate being out of focus.

However, if I was to nit-pick (and I'm going to) I'd say that maybe the bg should be drawn using the brush tool too, in the same style, instead of using the line tool (I presume).

Nice fonts used, nice choreography, excellent music.

The only real niggles I have are with the plot - not enough revealed about the characters - all we see is them being violent really and are left to assume the rest - and a bit too reminiscent of Buffy.

Still very funky. Develop the characters a bit more in the next episode. That's my advice.

Put me in a happy mood.

Top song, silly, proficiently done and fairly catchy. It loops really well too - took me a verse to realise the animation had looped.

The graphics are really nice, simplistic but funky and slightly stylised and 'human'. It's all a bit silly really, but with each verse holding new surprises and delights, it's little surprise that I was delighted to watch this twice.

/fairly/ amusing and interesting.

There were some mildly amusing moments, but nothing to make me giggle. It was interesting enough, but not rivetting or thrilling.

The graphics were really slick and nicely done, without being works of art and the sound was really good with some nice voice acting, though a few bits I couldn't quite make out.

I really liked the little details (centipede, M) and the ring was very surprising and actually really nicely sung.

It was top stuff, but just could have been better somehow... maybe a faster pace would have helped. If all that stuff had been condensed and some emotions bumped up a notch (angrier at ringing by the time he got to the door for example) it may have proved more entertaining.

A funky wee adventure

I can't lie. There were some points that were dull. But those few seconds were greatly outnumbered by the moments when I was in awe, baffled, intrigued or amused by what was shown before me.

I'm not too sure about the placement of the buttons - there should have been a button at the interactive boxes and I didn't understand the reason for the button at the fly thing...

Also, I didn't like the long motorcycle scene. The flying thing was nice as were some of the particle effects though.

Disjointed, irellevant, a mish mash, but all entertaining. For the most part anyway. ;-)

[Fairy Tale]

Not that great...

I dunno... it just wasn't that funny at all.

After seeing the red-riding hood setup, I thought there'd be more to it than just a lame rehash of the roadrunner ideas. I know you may be trying to experiment with the style, so maybe that limited you somewhat...

The ending was really irellevant I thought.

Good job, but not that entertaining and actually a bit dull imo.

Some great bits.

I really liked the sad round face, and the introduction, but as the girl popped in, the animation started going downhill I thought.

Firstly, they looked fairly happy.

Secondly, there wasn't enough of a 'story' - just random images thrown in and repeated.

Whilst this is a tactic a lot of music videos use, it would be a bit better if more time had been spent working out some sort of theme, or making more interesting images... a lot like the dancing just seem derivative. Almost like you started the project without real planning, got so far, then struggled towards the end.

Still, not bad at all.

[The Bad Pun]

So bad it made me laugh... :-D

I liked the art style, and the voice-over is great too. A hint of reserved amusement...

The pun was terrible and the suspense and stupid build-up (long enough, but not too long) was what made it such a release - 'yes! Hahaha! It /is/ terrible!'

Whistles were a bit too loud though.
