Not great at all

I'm left feeling really underwhelmed by that.

I understand claymation must be a skill that you need to learn through practise, but still...

I have a feeling that the (overly loud) tune takes up more of the filesize than it has a right to.

The pacing and lack of smoothness hindered my understanding of what was going on, as did the presentation of the scene with the guy 'walking'.

I had to watch it a 2nd time just to understand some simple hapennings and that's just not on.

Ah well, hopefully with practise you'll improve and hopefully my comments will have given you some things to work on. :)

Made me laugh! :D

The drawing wasn't that good, but was adequate to get the point across, and that's what's important in this kind of Flash.

The spelling irked me, but it wasn't as bad as some other Flashes.

The sound could have been better recorded - when you shout, there's a lot of distortion.

However, this made me laugh, and that makes all the tiny blemishes fade into insignificance. :)

Patchy

Reading above, it sounds as if you tried to get this out as quickly as possible, and it kinda shows.

Some scenes are really gorgeous, and the first time I saw the pointy cliff things with the lovely bitmap behind it and the lines flying about I realised that you had a bit more skill than I first thought.

Half the movie looks lovely, whilst the other half is something that looks like it took next to no effort.

You're obviously a skilled artist, judging by those bitmaps though.

The movie should really change faster - I kinda got a bit bored waiting for each scene to change.

In future, if you make a music video, or have running bgm to a cartoon, always set the music to stream.

This will ensure the animation remains in synch and it will drop frames of animations if necessary. As it was, the animation took about 20 seconds longer than the song to end for me.

It should be a simple matter to change it for this submission, and it'll make for a far better watch.

Still, as I said, some parts were indeed lovely.

Excellent stuff!

The stuff you drew yourself was really nicely done.

I know you traced, but still... it looks good, and that's what counts. :)

The Goemon storyline was hilarious and whilst I wasn't too keen on the actual fight, it was really imaginatively done, and more enjoyable to watch than I was expecting.

Craziness, a bit of a plot, a bit of humour and top graphics and sound.

Quality stuff!

The graphics were brilliant! How did you do the wibbly bits for the flashbacks? Did you have to modify each frame in photoshop or something?

The voices were good too, although there were a few lines I couldn't make out - specially during the TV show. Optional subtitles would definitely be an improvement in my eyes - and I'm sure others would appreciate it too.

The jokes and plot weren't quite as good as CU in my opinion, but it was definitely an entertaining watch and it held my interest when I could understand the voices.

A bit slow when he got the booze, but funny.

At the point when the guy was walking over to get the drink, it went way too slowly.

I found it really boring at that point and found my mind wandering.

However, it ended up being funny, and all's well that ends well, I suppose.

Nice graphics, nice sound, crazy plot (although not so crazy that it doesn't make any sense) and a bit of humour.

Good work!

All you could really do to make it better would be... make it better. I mean, there's no single aspect that's particularly bad (apart from the scene I mentioned earlier) but that's not to say that there isn't room for improvement in virtually every aspect.

I hope you understand what I mean.

By the way, why did the guy below bring up free-style walking? I didn't see anything about free-style walking in the movie...

In any case, stay funky,
Bez

Really good for a first effort.

I thought it was rather entertaining, though a lot of what happened was a bit too derivative.

I mean, Baby Mario filling up his bubble with tears, the whole joke with him falling on that enemy, dancing, Sonic's head exploding with the crying... all that has been done before and isn't that funny to see again.

Still, I did like #2.

I suggest that if you want to do another one, use a single strong idea (maybe the theme of #2), then expand upon it and build a little plot around it. Then put in some jokes and you'd have yourself a winner.

In any case, as I said above, this is really impressive for a first effort.

Good show,

A bit boring.

The graphics were alright (although nothing great) and the sound was as good as I'd expect from any clock-crew movie.

However, the plot just seemed a bit dull to me.

The SBC wanting to drive is just so old, and the scene with him running down the locks seemed a bit longer than it should have been.

Still, it wasn't too bad and hopefully you'll improve with more practise.

Bez

Nicely done, but slightly cliched and no sound.

It was an entertaining watch even if the whole movie was a bit cliched.

If you had some sound effects and mellow background music, this could be a lot more entertaining to watch as an audio-visual 'experience'. Just now, it relies on the joke, which I'm sure many will have seen before.

Bubbles were really nice though. :)
