Awesome.

Both movies were awesome although I preferred Luis's a bit more. (sorry Tim)

I just really lloved the way it was more of a story and actually had some nice jokes in it. Also, the photoshopped backgrounds were awesome.

Tim's effort is still above my own standards and I loved the bit with the monkey. The ending was fairly amusing too, in it's own way.

A great start to what will hopefully be a long-standing NG tradition.

Some great stuff.

Tim: Some nice randomness. The song kinda carried the animation really, but it animated in a nice, joyous, way.

Openwounds: I thought it seemed the weakest, even disregarding his theft. What exactly did he do?

McBean: Som really nice visuals and I liked the Kill Bill reference. It seemed a little too disjointed and hard to follow for my tastes though.

Luis: my favourite of the bunch. Great characters, some great graphics (specially loved the bit where the dog puts on his mask, the blurring and also the sailing boat scenes at the beginning and end). It certainly was short, but it was also sweet and to the point.

Meh

Twas OK. Given the subject matter, it had a lot of potential, but failed somewhat to live up to it.

To be honest, the only bit to make me chuckle at all was the ending.

Still, it was vaguely entertaining...

Funky tune, but dragged a bit...

The tune was funky and sounds like something I wouldn't mind on while I was doing something else.

But to devote all my attention to the tune and an animation derived from it?

It just seems a bit too repetitious for that...

I still enjoyed it for the most part though.

And your art was truly excellent - specially the opening shot.

Brilliant song, brilliant story.

Also, the voices art and animation are pretty slick too.

The flat colours on the characters probably make it far speedier to animate, but also have the benefit of being rather stylish and easy on the eye.

The story and script is wonderfully thought out and really made me chuckle.

One of the best things on NG.

Quality.

The story itself is far from the best, but the wonderful way in which the story is told.

Each second is filled with so many wonderful images - it's truly a feast for the eyes.

I love your voice, the style and specially the part talking about the history of the guy.

The music is truly excellent, the zoom in at the end was an excellent touch and the ending sequence complete with crook and your name spraypainted on (with nice SFX and drip I must add) is so excellent.

However, the fact that you start saying something at the end ('the wavy lines at the side of the screen whoo-oo-whoo-oo) and that's clipped off ruins the professional look.

I can't actually work out what this line has to do with the rest of the movie...

Seriously, it's just such a wonderful feast for the eyes and some of the highlights (specially the bits on your hair) bring to mind the plastic wrap filter.

Not too great.

The animation was fairly nice, as were the sounds, but I was expecting more of a joke at the end.

Some great, some not so great...

My favourite was 'Sandwitch'. It was the only one, in my mind, that told an entertaining story in time with the music and also looked great.

But considering the time limit, they were all pretty good.

Interesting idea...

I've not seen a compilation of movies like this before. It was interesting to see how different authors used the sound in different ways.

My personal favourite was Pako's entry. The others were great too, and FoXcatO's felt more complete, but Pako's fitted the music far better.
