[The Phony]

A bit confusing...

I'm unsure as to whether you were just going for humour, or if you were really trying for a slightly more serious message.

If the latter is the case, you should have maybe focused more upon your message.

In any case, it was slightly entertaining, but not really particularly amusing.

Hard to rate, as I've seen it before.

I didn't find it amazingly funny, but did I laugh the first time around?

I can't remember...

I'd guess that I enjoyed it about as much as I did just now. Which means that I found it entertaining and somewhat amusing without actually chuckling as a result.

Still, good effort.

Some more quality fbf work.

That was rather nice work.

However, it really wasn't too entertaining.

As mentioned by others, sound effects would help make this more of an enjoyable watch.

So would having some sort of a plot, or some jokes.

Everything in it's a metaphor for life?

Hmm... I find that a little hard to believe. It seems more likely that you just threw together some stuff that you thought was funny.

And it is, to an extent.

But only to an extent.

3 unrelated clips.

At first, I thought this was going to be some sort of story.

However, I was disappointed to see that this was what looks like 3 flash segments, only related by their main character, pasted together.

Yeah, they looked good. But they really shouldn't have been pasted together in this way.

Nice frame by frame flick.

Your animation was rather nice and fluid, and the choreography was pretty good too.

The ending was interesting, but would have probably been more effective had you held the shot and had a replay button fade in.

Also, a pre-loader would have been nice.

Still, an enjoyable watch.

[Modern flash impressions]

First you must master the technical side of Flash.

It's an interesting piece. I'm not entirely sure whether your description above is a true reflection of your intentions, or whether this was a tongue-in-cheek piece.

If the former is the case, I'd point out that the artists you mentioned studied art for many years and first learnt the rules, learning how to paint conventionally before they decided to distance themselve from photography via impressionism.

I feel that 'A Pocketful of Stars' on www.orisinal.com is more succesful in transmiting a feeling via Flash than this.

Technical ability may not be essential, but it certainly helps.

Still, good luck with future stuff. I look forward to seeing some more successful experiments from you. :)

Funny stuff

It obviously didn't take much skill to make this, but it certainly made me chuckle!

===WARNING - DON'T READ AHEAD IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE YET=============

I think it's the scream that makes it so funny. So human, yet so... silly. It's just a great scream.

And the whole idea of B getting hit in the groin by a football is slightly amusing in itself. :)

[Wonderlick: Episode 5]

An enjoyable watch.

I didn't like it as much as #2 (the folk on the clouds and the legs thing just seemed excellent to me), but I did really enjoy this.

I liked the randomness of the whole thing, although I would have liked to have seen what happened to the guy who captured WL.

An enjoyable watch. :)

(although some of the speech was a bit hard to understand...)
