The story rocked.

The graphics weren't too impressive tho'

If you were trying to go for a more stylised thing, you might have wanted to consider keeping it black and white.

I guess it's stylised anyway, with all the transitions that you do between still scenes, but it's still far from perfect. (Not that this makes it bad.)

However, I liked the story.

Humour, tears, anger, love... what more could you want?

Quite a nice little tale, done to slightly less than its full potential.

Made me laugh and made me smile.

Just didn't make any sense.

Unfortunately, for me, this didn't add to the humour - rather, it detracted from it.

So, basically, the situation is that this is a movie which isn't funny in MY OPINION.

I can't really comment any more.

Mildly amusing...

But it just didn't make enough sense immediately for it to be funny.

It took me a 2nd viewing to realise that Pacman was chucking a lightning bolt to blow up the arcade machine.

I dunno. Maybe I'm thick.

But I feel that immediacy is an important element in creating humour.

I liked the little voice going 'Yahoo' or whatever he says tho'

It just didn't gel well or grab me.

th graphics were reasonable and so was the sound (although I couldn't understand 1/2 the dialogue), but it just didn't seem to work well together.

Maybe it was because I couldn't understand the dialogue properly. Maybe it's because parts of it seemed almost like a spoof (basically a couple of sections at the start). Maybe it's because the interactive bits just seem pointless and a bit stupid.

It was well made and you obviously spent a lot of time on it...

Subtitles would be a good start in improving it.

decent.

Yeah sure, you tell a complex story in the author's comments section, but what does this equate to?

Just a simple fight scene (which is reasonably done).

Next time, try to tell more of the story in the movie, or at least leave little hints, like in tha Vampire IDE movie.

Havbing said all that, the graphics, animation and music were decent.

Making some sound effects, or some effect to tie in the action with the music would make the movie even better.

It wasn't something I loved. It was reasonably well done tho'

Decent.

Not much to it, but mildly amusing.

Put a tiny smile on my face. This is why people go to #ngwar - they like being insulted.

Only because i could =)

I actually prefered this to the Ytown series...

I like your graphics. I like that music. I liked the way you made a story bsed on the lyrics.

You also made the action fit the music well.

I liked the ending.

It was a great experience.

Great stuff.

Just 1 problem. The pre-loader bit doesn't seem to work.

Oh, and I said in my review of Ytown public 4 that I would like to do some voices for you.

I didn't realise that you didn't have your e-mail available to others.

Mine is: 0010006@tay.ac.uk

McRhyme responds:

Thank you for your email. Many people forget to tell me theirs. A shame. Anyways. I'm chocked that you like this one more that Ytown Public. I don't think the graphics are better (maybe a bit more artsy, more stylish). The end cracks me up though:
-"Now shoot him!"
-"I can't he's too cute" (said with my high pitched voice).
No, you're right the PRELOADER doesn't work, or should I say, it workes one time out of ten... Hehe.

I laughed 1.6 times whilst watching this!

I really like the way that you change the character bios each time you make a new movie, unlike CU.

I also like the style of the gfraphics, as I have said before.

I forgot to mention the trivia bit in my last review, so I'll mention it here if you don't mind, even tho' that was in #3.

The trivia bit was a nice idea, but was a bit too short.

Maybe for #5, you could make it come up at the start, and have question asking about the previous episodes. Then, people would have something to do while the movie loads...

Also, I'd definitely be up for doing voices, but my voice is crap.

McRhyme responds:

Wow, laughed 1.6 times?! That's alot! Hehe... (once) Thank you for noticing the trivia shit in #3. I didn't think anyone cared. Heh (one point 6)... And you are quite right, I should put in in the beginning instead - TO UNLOCK THE MOVIE! MOOOHAHAHAHA! So one true fans can watch it! That a really good idea! Yes! Yes! Yes!

Excellent.

I laughed at the start of this, but I feel that it ends a bit too quickly. Ah well... at least I can now go straight on and see Ytown Public 4...

I really liked the pre-loader, with the way you present the character bios and the cackground story.

I also like the fact that you have subtitles.

McRhyme responds:

The damn movie is 5 minutes long, don't say you wanted it to be even longer. Do you have any idea how much time one episode takes making?! Okay, calm down, Marcus. He said it maked him laugh and that good. Hmm. Yes, the ending is sudden... but the moive kinda keeps running even when the credits role, right? And then there's the triva!

It didn't actually make me laugh...

but it was enjoyable never the less.

I liked the clones, the character profiles (weren't there 2 girls?) and the whole twisted plot.

If the next one is like this, I probably won't love it. I shall, however enjoy it. On to the next...

McRhyme responds:

I agree. No real big humour, still some fun parts and I think it looks slick and comic-like.
