straight away

Didn't make any predictions this time.

++++ fat hitler! hahaha! Actually, I think it's the combination of so many damn things...

-- I can't make out the thing in his left hand.

+ Decent job on some of the edits.

====
Made me laugh straight away. One of my favourites.

AfroUnderscoreStud responds:

It was a big ol' juicy steak in his left hand.

Thanks for the review =)

what I saw

--- I HATE the auto-starting of movies. Put in a play button after the pre-loader. Even though it's short, I wasn't expecting it to actually start without a prompt from me, so I missed the first half first time around.

(Watched it a couple of times after anyway.)

--- HAving an icon that's not part of the movie seems a crappy thing to do. I was expecting cubes, and was disappointed.

- When the floor moves, the piles of bones don't move exactly with it - they seem to slide slightly.

++ The end 'creature' is kinda freaky, in a good way.

+++ Short and unpredictable.

===
Not much here, but I kinda enjoyed what I saw. Could be a lot more brushed up though.

FireHound responds:

I often forget to place a play button... yeah, the icon.. well, random movie... random icon :) hehe.
saw the floor-moving thing myself too, too lazy to correct it.. just a crappy flash anyways:)
was planning to make the creature move but... takes time and didn't think this movie would be worth it
well, short and unpredictable, don't know if that's a positive thing :)

thanks for the extended review

we expect

+++ Really cool intro.

++ I like the purple/black tv menu.

-- The 'klick-klack' one got a bit dull.

+ 2 buttons point to the same mc - slightly amusing.

+ The crappy loop means we know when it's done

===
Didn't much enjoy it. Hard to know why I didn't enjoy the crappiness of this when I find the nature of your AtWi80D series funny.

Maybe with the latter I enjoy the way that you allude to a plot that you never show. We are left to imagine all the crazy incongruities, which take place in the real world, we are made to presume from all the photos and the 'story'.

With this, it doesn't spark off the imagination like that. It's just a crappy thing, just as we expect, no surprises.

QwertyBoi responds:

perhaps because the majority of this flash wasn't made by the creator of AtWi80D.

pretty much inherently

I had heard of the country... maybe. I'll remember it now though. Those bananas combined with 'Sex on the Beach'...

++++ Educational nature

++++ Inherent comedy

-- The squint horizon irritates me slightly. Couldn't you have rotated the photo slightly?

It really takes you hours to get the pics? You should maybe allow yourself to mirror the pics if that makes it work better.

I had wondered how long these take...

===
This series is pretty much inherently great.

AfroUnderscoreStud responds:

I didn't notice the horizon. But now that you mention it...

Sometimes it can take hours to get th pictures, it depends. For Itlay I was going to do the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but I spent far too long looking and not finding anything, that I just gave up and picked a different location.

I wouldn't like mirroring the pictures, since then the location would look wrong. I think I mirrored one though, because it wasn't really noticable.

Thanks for the review.

for the above reasons

I just predicted cigars... I know little about Cuba. Do they really produce many maracas?

++++ Inherent nature of the series. It made me chuckle the way you introduced this in the comments - I was imagining Hitler going round and having wee conversations and stuff, everyone staring at a reincarnated Hitler.

- Because of positioning, the cigar blended a bit too much with the bg.

===
Not the best episode, but laughed for the above reasons.

AfroUnderscoreStud responds:

Maracas are used in a particluar style of music generating from Cuba, I forget the name.

actually finding parts of this

I predicted tacos/sombrero/maracas/tache outside poor houses.

+++ You're concentrating on the more beautiful, positive aspects of each country.

+++ Really grinned at the outfit change.

- I think you should start saying in the "author's comments" what the bg is. I think it'd be good to be educated in these matters, whilst being entertained.

====
I'm actually finding parts of this series surprisingly entertaining. It'd be awesome if it got its own page, but I'm pessimistic about the chances of that...

AfroUnderscoreStud responds:

Hmm, some people don't like the fact that I mention the country in the author's comments, they probably won't want me to mention the location as well ;)

Yeah, I doubt this'll get it's own page, even though it will have 80+ episodes...

Thanks for the review =)

A bit of a

After making the predictions I said for #11, I wanted to see this.

- A bit bland. They drink in NI too, yaknow, and I still think beer would have made the guns funnier.

+ Nice bg.

===
Almost a morose edition. A bit of a departure for the series, in some ways.

P.S In case you wonder about my changing scores for sound etc., don't read too much into them. It's more subjective than objective.

AfroUnderscoreStud responds:

Well, I didn't want this one to be too similar to Ireland, it would have kinda ruined it.

Yeah, this is one of the worst in the series.

I hadn't been looking at the scores to be honest ;)

Thanks for the review =)

straight away

I thought it was Northern Ireland. Predicted guns and guiness outside a pub. When I saw it was Ireland, I couldn't think quickly enough...

++++ Lots going on. The green suit/beard specially ace.

- The 4-leaf clover looks a bit faint. You should've maybe brightened that.

Do you use photoshop for the hitler pics? Why don't you just do the whole movie in PS so you could check the brightness and stuff straight away?

Also, what's this bg?

You could totally give this series an educational slant yknow, maybe...

===
Made me chuckle straight away.

AfroUnderscoreStud responds:

Yeah, that four-leaf clover was a little hard to spot. I tried touching it up to make it more noticable, but iut just looked odd.

Yeah, Photoshop for the Hitler pics. It's easier to do the background in Flash, rather than Photoshop, then I can get the positioning right. Photoshop could make it a nuisance.

The landmark was the Dublin Spire.

Educational? Hmm. Not exactly sure how I could incorporate that...

Thanks for the review =)

at first, but after looking

I was gonna ask about the opening music. 'Mindless Self Indulgence'? Are they generally good?

Was that tune picked by roflmuffin?

This one disappointed me. I predicted the castle, kilt, bagpipes. Should've predicted the hat.

++ caber was slightly surprising.

It didn't make me chuckle at first, but after looking at it again, I gave a faint chuckle.

The music is worming its way into my head.

AfroUnderscoreStud responds:

I dunno, that's the only MSI song I've heard.

Yeah, Roflmuffin picked it.

I forgot about bagpipes when I made this, looking back I'd probably have included them as well...

Thanks for the review =)

as always, but made

+ I've been to Wales! It's pretty!

+++ Amusing edit for this one.

-- Though predictable.

overall
=====
Limited as always, but made me chuckle.

AfroUnderscoreStud responds:

Some American's didn't get the sheep thing. Must be a British thing ;)

Thanks for the review =)
