A good message.

To be honest though, I found the voice of the 'cameraman' slightly annoying after a while. The whole 'overly nicey nicey' thing combined with the slightly nasal tone just irks me, I suppose.

Some facts were good, but some better ones could have been chosen, like how in some major cities landfills were filled up years ago and some other urges to recycle.

fairly nice animation, with good sound (slight bit of feedback though).

I really agree with the message - otherwise I'd have given maybe a 4 or 5.

A less annoying presenter, some more interesting visuals, maybe showing some different locations, a less irritating 'narrator', a few better facts to persuade folk to recycle and maybe a few more reaction shots would have made it better though imo.

Btw, generally when folk really appreciate the reviews, they take the time to respond. :-p Just pointing that out as you ask specifically for reviews, but responding shows you care more.

failed to make me laugh

It was nicely done, with some nice voice-acting and some vaguely imaginative jokes. But there was nothing here to really amuse me enough to actually giggle or even seriously smile.

I did really like the user-friendliness at the start though - the way the button was presented and the yellow highlight that appeared. Nicely thoughtful.

Quality stuff.

I enjoy your games. However, the long waits between choices do annoy me and it always seems I want to go and see the rest of the 'material' after I've finished, which takes a fair while...

But it's really nicely done. The main gripe I'd have would probably be with the art/animation. For a supposedly professional product, it seems a bit dodgy, specially the bits where the van turns.

an amusing spoof

The visuals you combined with the audio of the trailer went well enough with it and was yet twisted and crazy enough for it to work. Makes enough sense to bear some resemblance to something other than a mish-mash of ideas and is crazy enough for a laugh.

Having said all that, the only time I really giggled was at the ending.

Great idea though.

Some nice stuff

Entertained me anyway.

Some of the art was awesome, and I liked some of Wade... sorry 'Wadorf's mental faces.

The whole fight was a bit too 1-sided though with not enough excitement for that very reason - I mean once I saw Piconjo reflect the bullets from the cannon, it was obvious nothing will touch him.

Also, I didn't like the way you used a different face for him as he lay for a moment. The moment seemed a bit unecessary btw.

But it was enjoyable and some art was great. Just maybe spend some more time 'choreographing' the fight next time. Have it build up into a crescendo, rather than starting as you mean to go on.

A bit pointless.

I appreciate this maybe took you a while, but it really isn't up to scratch imo.

I mean, it's far too short, there's no story, joke, or point of interest to speak of (man walks out house, about to get into car, shot dead... that's all obvious from the first 2 scenes, so I was obviously hoping there'd be some attempt to surprise...)

The song is way too long, going on long after the titles and credits have finished, adding unecessarily to the filesize.

The graphics, though 3d, therefore maybe impressing some viewers, just isn't nice to look at. You could at least have some textures...

It really just looks like a poor Mega CD thing... I mean, 3D is all very good, but try to actually make it pleasing to the eye next time.

Or at least have some joke, twist or something.

Xerferic responds:

You think the music makes the filesize big? Adding textures to the objects just makes the file size stupid.

Brilliant art/animation.

The art was wonderful, with a sort of newspaper caricature look crossed with more typical animation (thanks to the flat shading I suppose).

Lip synching was great and thanks to all the little hand motions, the sign and other small touches, it was really enjoyable to watch, with a lot of visual interest.

Personally, I didn't find the radio skit that funny though.

Great work from you though and I look forward to seeing more animation from yourself.

Keep up the great work!

A bit boring.

These things, whilst they may entertain a few fans of the genre, almost bore me for the most part.

The pictures you show may be mildly interesting the first time they are seen. Some may be mildly amusing (such as the Doom protagonist in a red dress). Some animations may raise a smile.

However, when these things are simply shown over and over, with maybe 7 seconds worth of new material in the whole movie, it all gets boring fast.

Almost ironic that a movie that would probably take pride in being 'crazy' turns out to be fairly predictable and keeps to such a rigid formula. Flashing pictures with the chins cut out, random misinterpretation of foreign lyrics, more pictures or animations introduced until we are presented with a seizure-causing background.

Craziness is good. Repeatedly showing a few supposedly crazy images or animations nearly ad infinitum is most certainly not.
