I'm probably missing a bit here...

I've never seen the commercials you say this is a loose parody of, as I don't live in the USA.

However, though I've yet to finish the first game, I was able to appreciate some of the references and it did make me smile.

The voice acting, as always seems to be the case in your movies, was excellent.

The fact that you used optional subtitles is nice, as I don't see them very often. However, if you select to have subtitles on, they go off when you replay. Maybe the button should be at the bottom during the movie, so we can change it if we want?

Still, it's a good watch, even if you're not a massive RE fan.

I'd seen it before, but it still made me chuckle.

I really liked the Austin Powers reference, and the twisted ending made for a good chuckle.

You really have a style of your own - although I don't like this as much as 'All your Pie', they're both in a rather similar style, with the references to pop culture, and random events which simply serve to bring another chuckle to the proceedings, rather than actually having much to do with the plot as a whole.

You truly are obviously an imaginative person. You've started with a simple enough idea - 'What if Ganondorf turned nice' - and bring so much to it and truly explore the possibilities.

How long did you take to write and plan this?

I also liked the 2 extras - specially the chocolate factory, which seems inspired partially by Weebl and Bob and partially by all the crap cartoons out there.

But the crap cartoons aren't as successful in employing such brilliant off the wall humour.

Great stuff. :)

That was rather stylish and funky.

However, after the initial 'ooh' factore, there's nothing here to see.

I'd liken this to a painting which is pretty enough but doesn't warrant a long look.

Maybe if you made a funky fight scene you could pull it off?

I don't know...

In any case, it does look funky, so well done on that.

Too unfocused, slow and a tad boring.

It took me a few seconds to realise that the first movie was on a loop and I had to press the back button.

I had a quick watch of the other available clips and was just about to click the back button for the flower when I was surprised to see some action on-screen.

The movie that unfolded was far too slow and a real bore to watch. And none of the thoughts seemed to have any real relevence to each other.

The graphics were admittedly nicely drawn, and the sound was of a similarly high standard.

However, it seems as if you yourself were unsure about what exactly you wanted to make and without a clear focus and a lack of pace, this is just boring.

Unoriginal and poorly made

I've said it before; I'll say it again.

For a fight to be entertaining, the graphics must be good. Or at least the choreography. Without any joke or story to fall back on, it all comes down to the basic elements - timing, pace... but in a flash movie, good graphics are really needed to make it anywhere near entertaining.

Your movie lacked any of this. It was hard to follow what was happening the first time around.

The camera spin wasn't pulled off well at all, perhaps due to the way the figures were drawn, and the ending is indecipherable to me.

Maybe that's the joke, or the whole raison d'etre of this movie. Maybe I'm missing something great.

But I doubt it.

I suggest for your next attempt you try something different. Not a fight. Not a skateboarding movie. Nothing that relies on showy visuals.

Maybe think up a story, or animate a joke.

With time you'll improve, I'm sure.

Good luck,
Bez

Not impressive.

It's as if you just discovered shape tweening and became really impressed with your own meaningless graphics.

It's not impressive.

It's an effect which any decent Flash author will know about, and to use in the way you have, with such disparate shapes and without shape hints, only causes it to look cheap, tacky and cause slowdown.

I'd suggest you don't bother with a visual movie until you have some experience.

Until then, maybe just practise with some stories or some simple jokes.

Genuinely funny! :D

As the numbers went from 1 to 9, the smile stayed on my face, turning into a grimace at #7.

Then, at what could be called the punchline, I let out a chuckle. Which was followed by another chuckle as the joke was turned on its head.

The graphics are sweet on the eyes and the music fits really well.

The messages at the credits were also amusing.

So why am I not giving this a higher score?

Well, it could be funnier... and also, it wasn't entertaining the 2nd time around.

But as my score should suggest, this comes highly reccommended. Top stuff! :)
