Quality fast-paced action.

Despite this being the first one with a 'proper' bg, it's also the closest to the ethos of the original in terms of fast-paced violence.

The multiple enemies attacking simultaneously were handled well, and that's where a good portion of the strength of the original lay.

I wasn't too fond of the way the boss was defeated with a projectile though.

Still, really nice work. Almost a return to form, I feel.

Almost a step away from the ethos of the original.

I've noticed something.

Whilst in #1 you avoided using a bg to keep the focus on the action - and it worked well with the high-speed action needing no distractions - you've later gone on to embellish it and almost add bg distractions yourself.

Not too fond of this style.

Anyway, I'm not too fond of a ninja wielding an axe, but I liked the way you dealt with the needler.

And I preferred this boss to the previous ones, even if it still seems a bit too easy. But at least now the boss seems like he's actually having trouble with it.

Of course it should die in one hit with swords and stuff, but just maybe have him struggle a bit.

Vaguely amusing in its own way...

Took me a couple of watches to realise he was using the force to do the lightning and raise that dude up and stuff...

Yeah, it's a star wars rip, it's not as well animated imo and it's even slower than #2. Also, having a ninja is more exciting than a jedi who's more powerful anyway.

OK.

Really nice light-saber sound though. And amusingly crappy replay button.

Not as good as #1

I'm slightly disappointed.

It just seems that the action is slightly slower here - maybe there's less happening in a certain space of time.

I don't like the way the guy got killed with the shield - it just took me too many watches to work out why he died exactly.

The way one guy cowers for a couple of seconds - that's the kind of thing I mean - we should have at least another enemy rushing on-screen while he's doing that.

I do really like the way your folk die though and it is a nice sort of 'back to basics' ethos really. It was still enjoyable to watch. And I did like the little rush he did and the white trails for the sword.

Really nice

Fast-paced and slick.

I really liked the spin and the speed trails on the shurikens.

Also, I loved the way the music kicked in with the first hit.

I wasn't too fond of the first slow-mo effect - it seemed a bit unecessary and almost took away from the ott nature of it.

The weapon he produced just before the boss had a wee chuckle from me.

and the ending was pretty nice.

Overall, simplistic, but it does what it does well.

A bit wierd.

It was vaguely amusing the way different body parts were 'killed' seperately.

And the music was a nice pick and there was some decent variation in methods of killing and the moves.

But it was all far too slow - it could have been speeded up for the most part and would have been a more enjoyable watch - and apart from that one novelty seemed too derivative.

Also, the graphics weren't that interesting.

But seriously, if you speeded it up, we could have gotten the same message, and watched all the same action in less time, and still understood it all just as well.

That'd be my #1 tip.

Not sure what to say...

Some of the platforms and stuff were pretty nice-looking but I hear you ripped them off some other flash author and that's not really cool at all. (I lowered the score for graphics for that reason, but not the overall.)

Anyway, the whole movie is just a bit silly but the silliness didn't result in a giggle from me.

Despite you apparently being a clock fan, you have Strawberry act very much out of character at the end just for the hell of it.

Also, the audio was a bit quiet and subtitles may have been nice.

Mhhh.. I'm not sure about this.

It's a slightly crazy idea and I like it when folk play with the 4th wall (like your screen scrolling) but it didn't result in much hilarity here.

Not bad

Considering you bothered to submit a copy of an intro, I thought it would be a better copy. I mean, there was an awful lot of missing detail and the style of the drawing wasn't as nice.

Not that it's bad. Because it isn't - if you had animated a good story to this standard, it would have been enjoyable to watch. But considering it's a rehash... I'm slightly disappointed at the low standard.

I advise you to try working on original stuff in future and further yourself that way.
