Who is happy Noodle Boy?

The game was enjoyable enough to keep me going to the end, but its not without its fair share of faults.

The most annoying thing (for me) was repeating stuff - specially the intro of the boss.

When I was on the boss, I just right-click-played after dying. I don't see why I should have to re-watch long intros, specially when the game is so unforgiving and highly dependent on foreknowledge of what's going to happen.

If you had more than one thing pop up at a time, and also more than just one life, it would be better.

Also, it would be nice if the graphics had colour. The 3d environments, incidentally, were rather nice - unlike your stick-men.

All in all, it's a decent effort and I hope you use your new experience to go onto new and better things.

Good luck,
Bez

su-ji-a-mi? eh?

Like your thoughts creation, this is slick, although it does lack any real point or any genuinely entertaining elements.

Still, at least this one doesn't beat about the bush - it's clear that these are all static images. We don't need to waste our time staring at a loop for ages, or wait for a plodding pace to proceed.

It is very stylish, and the transitions and changing graphics do look really nice.

However, this really feels like something that should be an interface to some website rather than something displayed for the entertainment of others.

Still, you're obviously talented.

Do you aspire to design web sites for companies?

Top Stuff!

I did have quite a lot of trouble with the first enemy.

Being used to the system whereby you just need to shoot in the right direction, it took me a while to work out you actually need to click on the enemies. Maybe you should have mentioned that in the help section?

Also, I do feel that shooting them in the head should definitely kill them. It seemed as if to kill the man, you needed to shoot him 2 times in the same location. Shooting him once everywhere, including his head, doesn't put him down. That just seems like a bit of a flaw.

I was a little disappointed to see no new enemies in the 2nd or 3rd sections, but I suppose that's understandable.

I found the final boss a bit of a disappointment - after working out how to beat it, it was just a case of holding the cursor in the same place, staying crouched and shooting when appropriate. With an occasional jump for the orange things.

It just seemed like once I'd worked out what to do, having to wait for his attacks was a bit boring. Maybe he should attack a bit faster once you've hit him in the head once?

Also, it would be nicer if the arm only went from about 25degrees to 190 degrees.

However, despite these flaws, the game was a joy to play - mainly due to your outstanding graphics.

It's a great game, but with a few tweaks, it could be even better.

Good start

I'm impressed with what you have here, but it's not really that enjoyable to play, due to a few flaws.

- tbe jumping is a bit messed up when Sonic's on a side or on the top, as are the 'physics' in general. He shouldn't be able to jump off the top and return to the top - it should make him fall to the bottom. Also, he should fall off the wall or sides if he slows down for too long.

- The game doesn't seem to get harder. You should have more obstacles appear as you get more coins. This is the biggest problem imo.

- As the reviewer below said, an animation for when you lose would be good.

Still, as I said to begin with, it's still an impressive wee thing, so well done.

Well observed and fun to play.

It is truly hard to tell when you don't show their heads...

I actually thought one of the underage girls looked well over 18 even after her face was added...

Fun game, and I specially liked the FBI dude's voice and the quality lip synching.

Everything here seems to be of a high standard.

My only criticisms are (firstly) the limited nature of the game and (secondly) the rating is only dependant upon whether you pass the jailbait or not, so if you just skip all the women, you still get the same message as if you skip the jailbait but pick the legal ones.

Might have been useful if I had Swift 3D...

To be honest, I can't really comment for the above reason.

However, I liked various things including being able to go forward with either mouse of kb, being able to play music only if you so wish and the scrolling text windows.

There were instances though where the window could have been larger and scrolling wouldn't have been needed...

And you did make at least one spelling mistake. ;p

Pain bucket tool? Sounds... kinky...

Whoops, I didn't see that.

Freakier than I expected. :D

Certainly lives up to its title.

Having beaten it on hard, I really don't see myself returning, but if you changed it a bit and had a load of levels with varying ai and rules for the ball's motion, it might make for a more long-lasting game?

It's a bit dodgy how it tells you to try it on a harder setting after you beat it on hard.

I do really like the way the random music comes up with the title of the track though.

I suppose my only real complaints are the unimpressive graphics and the fact that it feels a bit lacking.

But those are suggestions for a future version rather than actual complaints.

A couple of tips

As stated below, if you're going to make a robocop soundboard, maybe you should have more sound clips.

There's lots you could have used.

2 - maybe having the whole quote written rather than a sort of 'reference word' would be nicer, as you wouldn't need to remember it.

3 - maybe you could have included some instructions on how to use this. That would have made it better than most other sound boards on NG and made this into something pretty decent.

bodes well for the final version.

You must surely know yourself how incomplete and buggy this currently is.

When you switch to jason, he doesn't do what he's supposed to do.

The car gets stuck at the top of the screen occasionally when you lose your energy.

At (what I think is) the end of the level, the car goes into the wall, and keeps on driving. Surely a single congratulatory screen wouldn't have been too much to ask?

There are other things as well I feel could be improved before the final game. When you take damage, you should flash and be invulnerable for 2 seconds or thereabouts, rather than being able to die in that time.

There should really be a 'skip' button for the intro.

However, despite all these flaws, I kept going till the end, which bodes well for the finished game.

I'm looking forward to it. :)

thanks man!

I'll try my best to keep working on this game..but idno..its really hard to code this shizat. When I make my next update, I'll make a congradulation screen lol

Enjoyable stuff - well worth a go.

I played this on 2FlashGames about a week ago, and rather enjoyed it. However, the multiple choices didn't stop it from being a bit tiring this time through.

Although the animation isn't the best, it's good enough to make this enjoyable to watch.

The sound effects and voices are excellent, and the tune at the end is well suited.

Some suggestions:

When you're beating up the guy, his face should get wrecked. That would make it convincing.

The game should really count up the score for you rather than you having to do it yourself.

use:

var score = 0;

on the frame when the movie starts and then have the code:

score+= <amount you want it to increase by>; when you want it to increase.

To display the score at the end, set a text field to dynamic text and make the expression:

_root.score
