That was mildly funky.

But it's too easy, even for a training game. To be honest, I'm not too sure about the control method. I really hate Res Evil style controls, and I'm sure that there are many like me. Maybe you could make the arrows move you whilst the mouse moves a target. That would be funky.

It seems to work reasonably well (although the presentation is still a bit shoddy), but it just doesn't get me going as it is.

Here are a few of my suggestions if you're going to make another update.

Make a graphic to show which weapon you've surrently selected.

Sort out what he says - correct the spelling and make what he says true.

The time limit doesn't really seem to work. Sort it.

Sorry if this review comes cross as being really negative. You've done some good work here.

It's just that more work needs to be done.

'tsall right, but it really needs more work.

Until then, it will remain a partially complete thing that could have been great but wasn't.

You really need to finish your projects...

Good shit.

I see you've got a proper isometric rather than planometric view (planometric being just rotated 45 degrees).

The perspective works well, as does the map which shows where you are.

I'm not too sure about the motion tho.

I'm guessing that you're using if...else loops.

Instead of using the else clause, use a seperate if statement for each arrow. That way, the ball will move in 8 directions, not just 4.

The way it works just now, I find the motion rather annoying.

Good work tho'

Keep it up!

Tanks!
I'm not sure I really understand your "planometric" view.. is this like a square rotated by 45 degrees instead of my diamond shape?
If you check well, you'll notice that the ennemy can go in 8 directions. I volontary block it so it can go in one direction at the time cause if you go in diagonal, it's 2 movements instead of 1 and it's going faster... but I see like you that it's not going smootly, I'm gonna make it 8 directions.
Tanks for your comments.

I like the idea.

I like the way that you've made the panels animated, and although I could argue that the 3 interactive bits are a bit weak, they do slightly add to the overall package.

You need to sort out the end - I never got a password or anything.

I'd definitely watch the next episode.

funnydoodle responds:

well the password is given at the very end of this piece of work... to be exact, the password is awarded right after the credits roll out... email me if u still have problems, i'll be glad to help... thanx for watching btw!

Great selection.

However, you still need... more...

Maybe if you had tabs for each different group of objects (legs, left hand, right hand, torso, head, miscellaneous, etc.) then that would be quite funky.

Also, as someone else suggested, have sounds associated with different objects.

Actually, why not take that a whole step further, and make him say something when you click on a button. Then, he could say stuff depending on what's in his arms/hands/head/whatever.

I can definitely see a way to do it...

But anyway. I'm reviewing this game.

And as it stands, I'm afraid it's just too samey.

Ah. I was wondering why this was the daily feature

And then I read Tom's wee note.

This was great stuff the first time I played it.

And it's still pretty funky.

I rate it lower than most, perhaps because I find it less amusing than most, but even I can appreciate the great coding, the alternate endings and the funky wee touches.

So...

Is this basically just a collection of Ramones songs with the lyrics and tab?

I'm sorry to be harsh, but I really don't see the point of presenting this in Flash form. I accept that if someone wanted to learn either, then it could be quite funky, but... surely theu could just dl the lyrics/tab, print them, and then switch on a CD?

Pretty funky animations, but I reckon that...

the game's too hard.

Quite an original concept, and a funky wee game.

Nicely done, man.

My favourite bit is quite possibly the voice when you lose, but hey...

How did those guys get all those high scores?

Oh, and the game is perhaps a bit too short and limited to warrant a higher score.

Quite funky stuff.

I'm impressed.

Okay. You've proved that you can do stuff in Flash. Now, how about making a playable game, or something that we can't already do with a computer porgram most of us will have?

I'm not trying to be nasty, but most people will have some sort of drawing package on the PC, and I'm not sure if anyone will be /that/ excited to be able to colour you guys in.

Ah well.

Have you played "Hateful Hangover" or "Channel Fighter" yet?
