Yeah, it was a really nice idea...

but the actual place you need to be to be able to jump isn't quite clear. And then you see yourself falling 'through' the plane seat - very annoying.

Maybe you could make multiple difficulty levels or something. Because as it is, I can see many people giving up.

Like me.

Half of level 1? As in fo real new improvements?

Just more levels?

Well then, here are my suggestions.

Firstly, even on low quality, it ran low on the uni machine (normally very speedy compared to my 666. Also, you seem to only sometimes fire lasers. This means that when you go around, clicking and destroying things, but not firing anything, you feel a wee bit distant from the action.

Also, you might want to consider limiting your ammo or something, because otherwise, it can become a case of blasting willy nilly at stuff you can't really make out...

Basically, make it so that lasers or something appear each time you fire, along with a wee noise.

Also, consider making it bitmaps instead of vectors, becuase I know shit, but this might be what's slowing it down so much...

Oh, and I might be wrong, but I think that the old Snes RPG was called Drakhen. It was also the name of an old (possibly WW2) aircraft.

WElllll

Not much I can say from this. From this demo, I can't really see where you're headed, so I can't really give you any suggestions which you might not already be implementing.

It seems to work.

Oh, and the score rates this on how much I enjoyed it, so I'm not slating it.

Brilliant.

I like all the little touches, like the way the buttons spin and the comments you get.

I got 73 on the proper quiz, in case anybody cares. I managed to beat the short game on my 3rd go and was well impressed with the prize.

To the guy below...

Yeah. It was the Tracy Ulman Show. But wasn't the Tracy Ulman Show on Fox?

Oh, one thing... didn't the special 181st (or whatever it was) episode display it's episode number?

Assuming that I'm wrong, there's only 1 improvement I could suggest.

Make it so that you can see what question number you are on.

I'm sure you could do this with some simple scripting...

Yeah, baby!

That's quite a simple idea, but the way you did it really made it shine.

Do this again, with a few more combos!

All right. Better than I've done...

But basically, this just lacks variation from one level to the next.

It either needs some change between levels, like the whole game constantly speeding up, or it needs the actual levels to have different stuff, like power-ups, aliens flying about, lasers which hit your spacecraft, aliens which eat your rocks...

Just too samey.

Allright, but...

Basically - the control system is annoying even tho' I can't think of any other simple way to do it.

Also, it's reallly annoying the way that you press a key for a while before he starts moving properly...

Apart from that, it's b asically just a bit too repetitive, and if you're going to expect people to spend time learning a game like this, you need to give them some rewards to keep them interested and make the game more varied and enjoyable.

However, the whole thing is quite nicely presented, and the game engine seems reasonably solid.

The graphics are all right, but in the end, it just needed some more variation to keep me interested.

Like I say, maybe it's not my cup of tea.

Oh...

I was searching for FFR:Remix and got this by mistake.

I was really disappointed for a second - I thought you'd gone about deleting stuff!

Ah well.

Now that the shock is over, all I'll say is that this is good stuff, but the newer version is much better.

Basically, this has 2 obvious problems. 1: too few options. Been sorted out. 2: slightly off-beat.

Good stuff.

Well... I can see what you're doing here.

You seem to be trying to talk about concepts and general ideas in animation and colouring rather than going on about how to do it in Flash.

In a way, I applaud you. After all, people can learn how to do the technical stuff by mucking about, or reading.

Ah well...

On the other hand, it isn't presented or explained quite perfevtly.

Still, it does it's job quit well...

I dunno. I think I'll give you a 7.

Pretty decent...

But I really felt like I learnt pretty much next to nothing (apart from the fact that you can move the center point)...

However, I suppose some newbies will learn something from this.

Then again, it's pretty much all in the tutorials and realms of common sense.

Bleh... I'll give you a 5.
