Just a bit too predictable...

It's a nice idea, but really is just a touch too predictable.

Having said that, your idea is carried out quite competently and at least it's small...

Many will think it's shit (like the guy below)

But this is pretty damn cool. Although it's not really as interactive as I'd like, it really does feel unique and kind of ethereal.

The pre-loader really is rather good - it's just like you say, the movie does form the pre-loader.

I like the way you've drawn the lyrics and the singers' wireframes.

Only thing is that I was really hoping for a bit more interaction.

Simple. I found it amusing.

Some will undoubtedly find this to be a piece of shit, but personally I found it amusing.

I'd suggest that you 'play' this if you haven't already. It'll take hardly any time to load, and within a few seconds, you'll know whether you'll like it or not.

Basically, this just consists of a series of buttons which you click to advance to the next bit of text.

However, within this simple formula, the maker has managed to work in a few jokes.

That's just as well, because there's not much of a game here.

But hey, you might find it amusing. I did.

Could be better...

The game is definitely full of humour, specially in the school when you look at a locker.

The idea seems to be rather sound - it is, after all, a proven game format, but it does seem all a bit sloppy and sometimes, it is a bit difficult to do what you want.

For example, walking along the street, you will sometimes walk into doors that happen to be in your way, and to counter this you need to walk in the road.

Also, it's rather difficult to know where you can and can't go, and how you use the inventory.

And when you click on some stuff, the action symbol goes to being a red circle - what is that? It's not explained anywhere.

I got the piggy bank and can't work out how to buy the cocaine with it, and the fact that the game hints book suggests that this is pretty much the end just frustrates me even more.

I really feel that if this had just a bit more work done to it, it could be a phenomenally great thing, but as it is, it just feels a bit sloppy.

Having said that, the jokes, graphics and introduction music are pretty funky.

But why does the music suddenly stop?

Not meaning to be so downbeat - this obviously took a lot of time, but it just needed a tiny bit more work to make it a lot better, and that kinda ruins it.

Yeah... I didn't do too well in Maths today. :(

But I really don't see how voting high on this will help. :P

Seriously... yeah, the background's reasonably nice, but it really does seem like you just took the Flash tutorial but added some graphics.

I believe that you can get that NG logo off of NG, and whilst you did design a nice colour scheme, it's didn't really bring any enjoyment to my life or anything...

The 'negative' bit to make the numbers negative really takes some working out how to use, and...

To be honest, I just thought it was all a bit pointless.

Sorry if you made this yourself, but ripping off the tutorial (which is what I feel you did) really isn't cool.

Not really the same game.

When I first started playing this game, the first thing I noticed was the difficulty I had simply moving around. I often had trouble somply re-positioning myself and this was a great irritation for me.

It was when I finally understood the game (3 'asteroids' are always on screen, shoot 1 and it disappears then comes back, at a seemingly random initial celocity and trajectory)that I started appreciating the game for what it was.

The combination of slightly awkward controls, a small playing area and few asteroids means that this game is less about weaving in and out of asteroids, frantically trying to blast them out of your way and more about simply trying to keep your craft under control.

The time it takes to turn your craft around adds to the laid-back nature of the game, and it seems to be a rather different kettle of fish to the original.

Taking it as it is, there are a few criticisms I would make.

Firstly, the collision-detection seems to be a bit off as my blast definitely went through the edge of one of the asteroids a couple of times.

The opening screen can also be a bit annoying as after dying, I wanted to get straight back into the action.

The graphics are rather nice, specially the background, and that's about all I can say without making it just a subjective opinion.

Now for the subjective bit.

I mildly enjoyed this, but it isn't really something that I'd want to come back to.

Maybe if you had the same idea (controlling a difficult-to control craft) and actually had multiple levels, with mazes to navigate, and interesting stuff to make me want to get onto the next level I'd enjoy it a lot more.

But as it is, it just feels like... I dunno... OK I guess.

Pretty decent.

I had fun playing this (although I had to refer to the walkthrough a lot).

I'd like to make some suggestions for the sequel.

1-make the window bigger. I had preblems reading some of the stuff.

2-make it so that stuff you can click on is a bit more visible. Like, maybe if it moved or something. Or maybe if the screen wasn't so dark.

Apart from that, this is great stuff.

I like the way you give people clues to do stuff, and I like the little games.

The graphics are nice, as is the music and script. It's really well presented.

The only thing was that I really didn't like the way I had to keep looking at the walkthrough.

Maybe you could have a guy who tells you where you should be going, but doesn't tell you what to do type thing? Kind of like Shenmue's or Zelda's fortune tellers.

Also, it was a bit of a pain having to click through loads of different places to go somewhere.

Maybe the map could take you to a new screen, where you could get immediate access to places?

But I'd definitely reccomend this to anyone with a few minutes to spare.

Dope shit, man!

Ya...

It's allright. And I like your shameless plug for your auction thingimajigie. ;)

The actual dressup thing is decently done, but there's nothing here to really hold my interest.

But this is a problem with dress-up stuff as a whole, rather than with your dress-up game, if you see what I mean.

Pretty damn good.

The game seems reasonably original, well coded and has lots of options and stuff to meke the presentation as good as possible.

But I feel that the level design could be better. More interesting. The first level shouldn't have bits I can hardly fit into.

Also, the music loop is a bit too short and gets really monotonous.

However, the coding's solid, the concepts sound and the graphics are pretty nice.

Good work.

But I just didnh't enjoy playing it. (Possibly due to the unexcellent level design I refered to earlier.)

Good stuff, but not perfect.

When I lost and tried to restart, the game buggered up and I was presetned with a black screen. Apart from this, the game's pretty sound.

However, while it's definitely nicely done (although the structure's not that solid...), it's not something I'll be returning to quickly.

Still, good stuff.

Obvious concept, nice moves, nice animation, nice wee level, nice presentation, buggy structure.

OH, and I didn't hear any music or sound...

Surely that's one of XX's staples?
