Glad you took my advice... hehe

It's good to see you listen to your fans. ;)

(I suggested that you have the counter for when you're about to die.)

Looking at it now, the counter moves a tad too fast and it takes too long to read the counter for it to be as much use as I thought it'd be, but it's still better this way I think.

Erm... maybe you should try having a bar and having that shrink?

I got the highest score so far! :D

It's far better with the high score table as now there's a real reason to keep playing. :)

As I said in my review of the original version of this sequel, the way that you kind of need to know what's coming for certain bits is still a wee bit of a problem. Well, maybe not an actual problem but a niggle.

Maybe you could make a sort of alternative version where the numbers appear at random intersections on a grid, along with the + and - signs. Then later on you could have more + and - signs, start having the circles move one step each time...

I reckon it could work and if you're willing, I'd really like to work with you to make something like that. Or if you want, I can make it and you get co-author credit for creating it when I upload it.

Could you please e-mail me on 'Scipt@hotmail.com'?

Having said all that, it'd be quite difficult to make it random and still make it fair and as interesting as your game.

As mentioned below, there are a fair few ingenious parts. The bonus stage, the flashlight stage from the original, the spinning of nines/sixes and the joining up of 1 and 0s or two 0s...

It's a quality game and I look forward to seeing more stuff from you. (Although please e-mail me about whether we can collaborate or I can make a version of this...)

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Not a patch on the sequel

Which is a good thing... shows you're improving. :)

Obviously it's (almost) a totally different game though.

You should have a chance to stop the anti-woogles harming you rather than just have them hit you every so often.

Also, at the end when it says 'warp' it seems you can only do any of the 3 levels you've already done whereas in the instructions you say there are 4.

Apart from that, it's an enjoyable wee game.

I'm a bit surprised you didn't use sound effect for the sequel as they're the only advantage this game has over it and I think they definitely benefit the game.

This is brilliant!

The only real problem is that stage 1 is disproportionately hard compared to later stages.

It feels as if the game should start with stage 3, 2, then 1, then the rest.

I like the idea behind the game and you've made it into an enjoyable wee thing.

I liked this shooting bit at the end to give it some variety.

The only other thing I could suggest is that this seems like a game where you should have loads and loads of levels.

If you had some sound and some ambient music, I think that would also help you get higher scores.

The biggest problem in my opinion is the 1st level though - I think it's definitely harder than #2 or 3.

Pretty well made...

However, if you had multiple levels instead of just one, it would work much better.

Make the first couple of level a bit easier, then have make them get more difficult in stantard videogame fashion.

Also, when you finish, the 'submit' button doesn't work.

All in all, it's a nicely made game, but it could still be a fair bit better.

Got boring

Some of the ways you twisted the quotes were mildly amusing, but they do get boring a bit quickly.

Ultimately, that's the main (pretty much only) point of this game, so I just don't think this is all that good.

Having said that, it's a nice idea and is done OK.

Graphics and sound, whilst not amazing, are up to the job.

The way you interpreted the quotes just didn't end up being as amusing as I thought it'd be.

A bit too long, I feel.

Even though this was really well made and with some top rules, the game does seemt to last slightly too long.

By the time I had finished just 1 game, I was already getting slightly bored of it, and didn't want to start again.

If the game had maybe been shorter, there been fewer lives, or the game been a bit faster (making it harder), it would have been far more enjoyable in my opinion. If it was aimed at children, I can see why you set those things at the level you did, but for me, it just seemed to get a bit boring.

Also, the high score table didn't seem to work at all.

Having said that, the graphics and presentation were fantastic.

But, for me, it still got a bit boring.

Matmi responds:

the time is a bit long I must admit.
The reason the score board didn't work is because you have to play it from the www.monstermafia.com site, as with all the other monster games we have.
cheers anyway

A fun little game.

After reading some of the previous reviews, I was expecting something far more offensive to be honest.

It's a well made game. The way that stuff comes up seems to be totally random, and I was impressed by both the way you can hit the players whenever you should be able to (a lot of these games don't gat this much right...) and the sound, which doesn't annoy with needless music, but does have some funky samples.

The presentation is rather cool, and the only real criticism I can make is that maybe there should be some sort of little pre-loader. Still, that's not really a big issue.

You've done what you set out to do well.

It isn't anything amazing, but it is a fun little game to play.

Incidentally, my scores (for 3 games) were 39,46,41, making my personal best 46. Is this the best yet, or do I have a little way to go still?

Matmi responds:

cheers. some good scores there. I think they other people were just annoyed because it got on the front page, so they expected a masterpiece

A mildly amusing way to pass the time.

Despite what the guy below said, this is quite clearly a game.

The dancing brought a smile to my face, and I liked the response to the 3rd option.

The shooting game, whilst nothing special, seemed to warrant a 2nd go.

Hey, this is pretty fun. Smile-worthy.

'twas allright.

I was just really disappointed with the lack of interaction.

Ultimately, there's no way that this is a game. It's just a short gag that you can either find funny or not.

I didn't.

It's just a totally average dress-up game.

There reakky are enough of these around already - I personally just find the whole style boring anyway.

Thing is, from the title, I presumed that this would be something more... exciting.

I don't know, like some game in which you had to guess what items of clothing belonged to a prostitute and which didn't.

Don't get me wrong, this isn't shit or anything, it's just... average. But, for me at least, dull as well.
