AARRGHH! WHAT AM I DOING!

I'm giving a Clock movie a relatively high score! Now I will be placed to burn with them at the stake and be subject to the ridicule of all norrow-minded people!

Seriously though, the original was good. Whilst this wasn't as funny (after having seen the aforementioned original), I would have found it just as gunny had I seen this one first.

Then you've got the brilliant presentation, the brilliant striptease, the brilliant end...

In a word, it's brilliant.

Well done K-Clock. (Is it all right if I continue calling you that?)

Nicely done,

but for me, it all just lacks a point.

As gambling games go though, this is decent.

Uncle-Boris responds:

I take offense to that, seeming as you can't actually script yourself!

Strange, I thought I'd like it then...

Seriously though, decent and mildly original effort. Take a normal-seeming person and look beneath the surface...

One problem was the badly recorded sound.

Another was that 'I just didn't find it funny.' TM

glish responds:

I guess you're not one of the disturbed folks I referred to then....?

Drags on.

Alright, so I wasn't good enough to get a TKO. However, It really shouldn't drag on for so long. Maybe the rules are realistic, but they could be modified to enhance gameplay.

I also thought that there were definitely some problems witgh the control and KO ing - once I had his energy right down to the bottom and hit him a few times, but he wouldn't go down!

Nicely done,

but maybe there could be a bit more to it?

Like re-telling the story as an intro movie, or something.

This is decent, but it could have been developed a bit more.

Maybe better than the score suggests.

The thing is, I just didn't find it very entertaining becuase the gameplay seemed totally unbalanced and pointless.

I didn't like this. Others might.

The graphics were nice.

raitendo responds:

Yeah, I know what you're saying. The gameplay is really quite pointless (but unbalanced? in which way do you mean?) and the main point of the game is the (if I may say so) rather good-looking graphics. So rest assured, I know it's no masterpiece :). If you want something meaningful, try my game Another Weird Ordeal dv2 instead, it's loads better. Cheers

T's nice...

But there's basically 2 big problems - the way you win, which is fucked up (as the guy said below, kill one thing, then wait) and the lack of incentive to play again.

For #2, maybe you could make it so that you need a certain number of kills to progress, but you also have a certain number of bullets or something. This way, you would need to keep your accuracy up, but you'd get the progression in.

This version though...

lack of variety, nice simple idea, not that original, not that much incentive to play again.

I really liked the character designs and the win/lose animations though.

Nice, but bugged.

I just did a special move when the screen turned blue and the whole thing crashed! It stayed like that for about 10 secs, and that's a real bummer.

The idea was nice, the execution needs a few more features to make it more polished. You could make it so that moves give you less points when done in succession. That way, you'd have to use both the kick and the roll.

After a while, it gets a bit boring. Fair enough, I didn't work to get the special. But it's your job to make me want to get it.

daro36 responds:

This is the first i've heard of any "special move" bug. If anyone can give me further information about this problem it would be greatly appreciated. I'd fix it the first chance i got, if this "bug" really exists. I am skeptical though, becuase i have tested this game more than you can imagine and haven't come across any bugs that i didn't take care of.

Just an introduction...

Right, I know that the whole thing is quite decent and that a lot of time has been invested into it and there are some nice bits of humour and...

but the 'game' can hardly be called such - you basically need to click on stuff in a pre-determined order and there's no chance of missing anything or having to work out anything.

I was basically just dissapointed with the freedom present.

Ah well, guess it's a start.

Maybe the later episodes will develop the story a bit more, because that isn't that strong just now either.

Of course, whilst this stuff isn't amazing, it isn't crap either.

I just feel that it's underdeveloped. Maybe I will eventually love the series when it comes to its conclusion? Who knows?

Well made but badly designed.

Well, maybe 'well made' isn't such a great description, but my point is that it's had a great deal of work put into it, and I don't want to be too harsh.

On the other hand, the collision detection is dodgy, the fact that you can easily hit the ball straight up means that you can just stay still to break massive vertical lines, the levels are unoriginal and unexciting and basically there's nothing new here.

Worst of all is the message at the end.

Vote high to let me know you like it?

That's what people do anyway. Say something like that, and it makes gullible people fall into your trap and vote high, whilst more experienced people vote low.

That's why I'm giving this a 0.

(That's as high as I go.)
