Seemed decent enough.

But as it said, I'm not even one of their fans.

Oh, and it's You're not even of their fans.

Seems like you put a great deal of effort into this.

I'm sure that Beavis'n'Butthead fans will love this.

I rated it low cos I rate stuff subjectively and I'm not a fan.

The original was bad enough.

The original was just a poor joke anyway. So, your 'spoof' really doesn't get me going.

I shan't say any more, since there's nothing more to say.

S'okay.

The music was great, and I liked the concept and the look, but I didn't like the gamne at all.

There are only ever about 2 things you can do, so you can get through by just using trial and improvement.

However, because the buttons only last for a wee while, you sometimes don't know where they are. On level 4, I couldn't 'find' the 3rd button on the cieling, so I had to cheat, by playing the movie after it had stopped.

The restart button is dark against a dark background in levels 2, 3 and 4. After i lost level 2, for the first time, I couldn't find the button, and I had to restart the movie.

To be honest, until the 4th level, I didn't realise that you were trying to get that bag. A short introduction might explain this and then people would realise how clever the whole getting swept away by water thing is.

The graphics and music are nice, like I previously said, but I just don't like this gameplay.

There are sections where the place you need to click and the action performed defies logic.

I mean, in level 1, when you're in the tiny roon and you click below and to the right, he goes below and to the left, then gets eaten. No logic!

Maybe if you actually made the buttons some sort of colour or something that would at least alleviate some of the level 4 problems.

T'sallright, but needs refinement.

A bit buggy. Still great tho'

I played this last night because of your reccomendation. It's definitely a funky wee game, but it seems to still be buggy. If it wasn't bugged, or if I'm being an idiot and it isn't, then I'd give it about an 8.

However, one of the text boxes seems to flash between the English and Swedish translation when playing in English.

Also, when you gamble, when you run out of money the guy says something like 'oh, not enough money', but then you gamble anyway, and your coinage actually bacomes a negative number.

Also, the way that you need to use both the mouse and the keyboard with your right hand is a bit annoying.

You should be able to navigate through multiple choices with the arrow keys and enter.

However, the worst thing of all is that I let a friend play it tonight and in the end, I couldn't work out why he wsn't reaching the ending. He'd done everything that I'd done, but he'd fired a blast at the tractor instead of going to hospital and he'd made a few different decisions with the multiple choice answers. But, in the end, he'd spoken to everybody, and even after he laft, I went around, and couldn't seem to get to the ending. Is this a bug?

It's still great tho'

I'm looking forward to the next version.

my recommendation? uhm ok never mind probably happened somewhere down the line.
yeah it's got its fair amount of bugs, I know. But me thinks the reason for your friend not getting to the end must ave been either 1) he would have needed to wait one day longer to make it happen or 2) he hadn't talked to 3 persons about Burgess Industries. yeah that must definetely have been it.

cheers

Yeah! Stop yer whining.

The score means fuck all. There is a shit load of idiots on NG, and just remember, there's only a few people who don't l;ike it. It's better to be loved by a few than be liked by many, but which will get you the better score? The latter, of course.

Reviews don't really mean shit either. I mean, like I say, there'll be loads of folk who don't like this, some who do...

Sorry, but I don't care how long this took you. At the end of the day, all I'm worried about is: is it enjoyable?

It's a great rendition of that spectrum classic, and I personally really like this.

However, it's just a brief diversion rather than something that'll stay in my mind as a great game. I mean, this is maybe one of those games that's fun for a wee bit, but you'll have little incentive to carry on in.

I guess at the end of the day, boinging around is meant top bring its own enjoyment. And it does, but only ofr a short period of time.

You should submit it on TxM. You generally get a better quality of reviews over there.

Was allright.

I mean, it seems solid enough, and the graphics, sound and look are quite decent.

But you don't tell us what the difference between strategy and arcade mode is - you leave us to find that out for ourselves.

Also, the acceleration of the ship is a bit feeble, leading to you not being able to go where you want as easily as you should be able to.

Also, there's not really enough incentive to keep on playing.

If you'd told me the difference between strategy and arcade, I might have spent more time on it.

You should also have hints when you die, telling you how to become better, or maybe just pointless messages.

You could comment on the player's score and then give on of a few hints. The hint could be selected at random, and the comment would obviously be based upon the score.

But, as it is, it's just lacking.

T'sallright.

I mean it works, and you've got instructions and stuff, but basically, it's just too monotonous, unoriginal and easy to carry on forever.

If a game's as monotonous as this one is, you need to at least make it a real challenge to survive.

Then you actually feel happy when you get a high score.

Oh, and there is a bug - the music which starts after you die carries on forever.

Damn funky trailer.

I was a little bit annoyed about the voting 5 bit at the end, and in your comments, but the trailer does look pretty nice. The music fits in well, and the 3d stuff, along with the white to black text looks impressive.

Looking forward to the game, but...

is such a long game (in terms of how long it takes to play a game) really suited to the Flash medium?

Not bad.

I actually watched this ages ago, before I started reviewing everything I watch.

I played as Proxist at the time, and just couldn't win.

Examining it a bit more, Wheeljack does definitely seem to be far easier to win with. Is this some sort of fauvoritism on your part?

I really liked the backgrounds, and Tom and all the sound. And although the graphics weren't amazing technically speaking, they worked well.

Basically, it's quite decent, but could be better.

Still, I prefer Clock Assassin X. That's the best clock thing I've ever seen.

Mildly amusing.

I liked the traditional clock ending, and the bg was guite nice. However, once you work out how the game works, you can easily get up to level 12 or so, and then you just think 'man, this is getting well boring'.

You should have either made it actually end (say, he goes out drinking every night for a week and then after 7 rounds, you see an animation showing him sick in bed or something.)

Otherwise, you could make it get more difficult faster.

As it is, it's a mildy amusing idea, and it all rightly done, but it really feels not-quite finished.

I do really like the background tho'
