Fantastic -

and I don't even know anything about The Transformers.

I found that it touched me slightly even though I didn't know anything about the Transformers.

I loved the animation - specially the blur on the lorry's headlamps as it spins out of control.

I had to watch it twice to get the gist of it, but for me, it really was like a scene out of an anime.

Now, if someone could explain the whole Transformers thing to me...

'T's quite good

But I reckon it's just a bit too short. Hmmm...

Actually, If it was much longer, maybe I'd have got a bit more bored. I don't know.

I think the graphics are pretty damn hot, but I'm not too sure about the 'plot'. I mean, in the fight, there wasn't much variety and one fight is a bit little.

I don't know...

'T'was decent, but there wasn't much to it to be honest.

Nice graphics though.

I just don't find this funny.

To be honest, I find this pretty disgusting, and whilst I can appreciate that a lot of time and effort must have gone inot making those graphics, the basic thing is, to me, just too much of a rip.

I just find it too offensive.

My only criticism is the size.

On my friends feeble connection, it took ages (I didn't count the minutes) to load this up.

When it did, finally load, I found the movie to be pretty damn good, with a twist of irony thrown in for subtle measure - to check the validity of their belief that the government is a bunch of hypocrites, the terrorists make an action which is quite patently hypocritical.

It wasn't anywhere near as effective as 'of Mind and Machine' for me, but it came pretty close.

One of the reasons I gave it a mark less than 9 was because of the size.

Loved the plot.

Not /quite/ as good as it could have been (i.e. imperfect), but still pretty funny for anyone who knows the series but doesn't take it too seriously.

Loved the bit about them flying to a desolate place...

:-D

This is a split-review.

I was in chaos, knowing that this was pretty decent but not liking it at all, so I've given you all 5s.

This is a split between me (not liking it at all) and a mate who isn't a NG member and will probably never be and likes this a lot.

Just not my cup of tea.

I appreciate that the fighting's decent, the graphics decent (if not amazing) and that this will appeal to fans of DBZ-type flash stuff.

However, I thought that the sound was a bit weak (with no sound effects, or anything, which could have added a lot to the fighting). Also, I thought it was missing any real involvement due to the lack of character development.

Basically, I consider it well made and a fine piece of work, if not outstanding.

However, I just didn't find it enjoyable to watch.

okay...

But I just didn't like it.

The drawing is really nice, and your basic idea is mildly amusing, but I'm afraid it just didn't turn me on.

Maybe with some sound effects, this could be something well smart. However, as it is, there's nothing here to bring it above slightly below average in the enjoyment rating.

Quite nice.

It actually made me laugh at one point!

Good stuff.

Great, but maybe not to my taste.

Maybe it's because I'm not American or something, but I actually find fewer portal entries genuinely funny than I have fingers.

This is definitely as good as a lot of stuff which is shown on US TV (and, to a lesser extent, British TV), but that doesn't mean much - after all, there is a lot of stuff on TV that I feel lacks sufficient goodness to make it rise above the levels of mediocrity (is that a word?) and which I don't watch.

If this was on TV, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to watch it. However, with some better animation/graphics/sound recording and a bit of polish, this would be up there with the best stuff available that I don't have time to watch.

As it is, CU4-1 is a decent movie. Obviously the scripting is the strong point.

By d'way, I want to point out that on the character Bios, you have a 'next' button beside the Dean, which is inactive.

I know I'm being a pedantic bastard, but it is a bit annoying.

On the subject of the characters, I also wanted to quickly say that I feel they could definitely be used a lot more. There's been some pretty funky missed opportunities.

Ah well, I guess I'll just see how the series develops.
