I'd definitely like to see more.

I thought highly of the artwork and sound, and was impressed that you used subtitles to cater for those without sound, or those with hearing difficulties. (Like myself, at some times...)

(But dark red on Black? Make the red a bit lighter.)

However, the reason why I've scored you lowly is because you've got a nice bit of humour, and probably some great characters...

But I didn't find the humour that funny, and the animation wasn't really enough to make me want to click the link.

Maybe an introduction? Like a Flash adaptation of the first few episodes? Then you could introduce uncultured NG guys - like me - to Robot Frank.

By the way, I hope you understand that I appreciate how good your Flash is, and that this is all just my own personal opinion.

fourchinnigan responds:

We haven't started work on the series yet. This was just a little experiment for me to play with the characters a little. When the series comes, you will get a lot more. I need to check with the Robot Frank creator and make sure he doesn't mind it being on NG. We have already agreed to have them on his site and mine, but I haven't mentioned NG to him yet.

For a second there, I thought I'd already seen it.

I'm not really convinced that you were justified in resubmitting this just for 1 alternative soundtrack. If you were going to re-submit it, maybe you could have... I dunno. Done more to change it.

The original soundtrack was probably better, but it just needed a bit more variation at a few points. If you'd made it 4 or 5 loops instead of 1, that might have been the way to go.

I might be mistaken, but isn't the roar missing in the new version?

Actually, I dunno. But basically, this is - in my opinion - no better than the original, and I'm starting to think that the original single loop style was pretty funky in the first place.

Hope you can work out what I'm trying to say.

Ember responds:

don't talk shit

Mildly amusing.

But still... unless I was going to actually use this, it's pretty pointless.

Well made tho'

Love the writing at the start. Did you use a paintbrush in Flash to do that?

glish responds:

The point is to actually use it!

BTW, I used a font for the text & broke it apart.

Nonsensical stuff.

I often say that nonsense is only funny if it is put into an environment where it makes at least partial sense, or the environment around it is a normal environment. At least, that's the way I feel.

Beat up a carrot with a jacket with only a plain colour to serve as a background, and it's not amazingly funny. Then, if you take the same thing and put it into a normal situation, it becomes a perversion of your expectations and ccan often make you laugh.

With this movie, Krinkels doesn't pretend that his world is normal. However, the way that the characters behave initially lure us into thinking that this may be his interpretation of the real world.

However, I might argue that had he kept up the pretence, or made more of an effort to place it into errily familiar surroundings, we might have found ourselves laughing more.

Maybe even a short scen with the character coming out of his house, and walking down the street, only to encounter the rest of the story.

N.B. AS ALWAYS, THIS IS MY OPINON. I CAN ONLY STATE MY OPINION, AS THAT IS ALL THAT I AM SURE OF.

Krinkels responds:

Keen, ill keep that in mind with my next movie. good feedback!

Just didn't find it funny.

The drop at the start was quite nice, and I liked the evil grins. In a way I'd quite like this to become a series, as I can see that you have some real potential.

However, I just didn't find the joke funny. Ah well.

'Tis subjective.

Gasq responds:

Again with the drop...

Yeah, sure... I'd like to see that as a movie.

But only if you put in some decent jokes.

That's basically what this was lacking. Beyond the crossover theme, there wasn't anything else.

Gasq responds:

Its a preview...its gonna lack a lot of stuff :P

RaNcIdPsYcHoJoSh might suck, but so does this.

To be fair tho' it is stylishly done, and it is only 8k...

Splent responds:

Thank you for voting fairly. i know the movie sucks.

Not much to it, but mildly amusing.

Put a tiny smile on my face. This is why people go to #ngwar - they like being insulted.

Buddudslash responds:

Only because i could =)

I actually prefered this to the Ytown series...

I like your graphics. I like that music. I liked the way you made a story bsed on the lyrics.

You also made the action fit the music well.

I liked the ending.

It was a great experience.

Great stuff.

Just 1 problem. The pre-loader bit doesn't seem to work.

Oh, and I said in my review of Ytown public 4 that I would like to do some voices for you.

I didn't realise that you didn't have your e-mail available to others.

Mine is: 0010006@tay.ac.uk

McRhyme responds:

Thank you for your email. Many people forget to tell me theirs. A shame. Anyways. I'm chocked that you like this one more that Ytown Public. I don't think the graphics are better (maybe a bit more artsy, more stylish). The end cracks me up though:
-"Now shoot him!"
-"I can't he's too cute" (said with my high pitched voice).
No, you're right the PRELOADER doesn't work, or should I say, it workes one time out of ten... Hehe.

I laughed 1.6 times whilst watching this!

I really like the way that you change the character bios each time you make a new movie, unlike CU.

I also like the style of the gfraphics, as I have said before.

I forgot to mention the trivia bit in my last review, so I'll mention it here if you don't mind, even tho' that was in #3.

The trivia bit was a nice idea, but was a bit too short.

Maybe for #5, you could make it come up at the start, and have question asking about the previous episodes. Then, people would have something to do while the movie loads...

Also, I'd definitely be up for doing voices, but my voice is crap.

McRhyme responds:

Wow, laughed 1.6 times?! That's alot! Hehe... (once) Thank you for noticing the trivia shit in #3. I didn't think anyone cared. Heh (one point 6)... And you are quite right, I should put in in the beginning instead - TO UNLOCK THE MOVIE! MOOOHAHAHAHA! So one true fans can watch it! That a really good idea! Yes! Yes! Yes!

I am BEhrooZ Bahman Shahriari. I am a man. For years, I have been (sometimes) called... BEZMAN!
